TLDR (the short version)
All products on this site are royalty free – you can make music, sound art and sound design with them, but you can’t re-sell them, pretend you made them, or re-package them to sell. It’s similar to buying a guitar; you can play it, make whatever noise you want with it, but you can’t pretend you made it and sell it on.
The only real difference with physical goods is that you can sell them on second-hand, but you can’t do that with digital products. By the same token, you don’t have to pay £800 for a digital instrument (unless you buy a whole orchestra on Spitfire or something).

License Agreement
All products from Kaboodle Sound are sold as ‘royalty free,’ which means that they are licensed, not sold to you, by Kaboodle Sound. Kaboodle Sound is either the owner or entitled licensee of the products on sale. By making payment for a product you are granted the right to incorporate them in a music production, film, tv program, website or other media production, without paying any additional royalties, license fees, or any other fees to Kaboodle Sound or any third parties.
Usage and Copyright
Copying, re-selling, leasing, duplicating or distribution in any form of the products for sale, other than outlined in the ‘License Agreement’, is strictly prohibited. This extends, but is not limited, to file sharing websites, web forums, computer networks and file hosting websites. Products cannot be distributed in their original format or sold in a manner that would be considered competitive with the nature of Kaboodle Sound’s business. Everything else on the website is licensed to Kaboodle Sound, including artwork, source code, materials, audio demos, graphics, text and logos and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
Delivery/Refund Policy
After making a payment on this website you will be automatically taken to a download page, where you can download your product.
Products purchased from Kaboodle Sound are non-refundable. Once you have opted in to buy the product you are in effect purchasing a license to use the content in your music without paying royalties to the owner, which therefore cannot be refunded.
However, if you experience any problems, please contact us and we will work hard to solve the problem. We are friendly and approachable, not corporate and greedy!
